Dear //FirstName//
Firstly we would like to thank you for your continued support of our family-owned winery. To say thank you we would like to offer you, our loyal patrons, the chance to book and stay in our winery cottage - affectionately known as "The Crossing".
The cottage is located within the winery's historic buildings near the Para River crossing used by the early migrants when travelling to the rich copper fields of Kapunda and Burra.
The original part of the cottage was built in the 1840’s and extended in the 1880's. It was condemned in 1983 after the region's worst flood in decades. It took some 30 years to raise the money and finish the restoration that now breathes new life back into the old cottage. Once again it sits proud amongst the other heritage buildings on site.
Since restoring the cottage it has been home to regular family meetings, family barbecues and guests from around Australia and the world.
So when you next come to visit us in the Barossa and you need a place to stay, feel welcome to book Langmeil's “The Crossing” cottage and immerse yourself in the buildings and history at our winery.
For more information visit 'The Crossing' here, or email carolyn@langmeilwinery.com.au.
Kind regards
The Lindner family
