Well we’re one month down already but Happy New Year for 2018!
If you’re anything like me, February is often a month of recuperation and consolidation as things settle back into some semblance of order after the fracture in routine the festive season can bring. Having spent considerable time with my in laws in recent months, my routine is not the only thing to have been fractured. I refer of course to my wine stocks! Knowing that many find themselves in the same position, we would again like to help our supporters restock without blowing the budget by way of a few ‘end of run’ opportunities. Obviously, by their nature stocks are limited, so it is most certainly a case of ‘first in best dressed’!
Speaking of limited opportunities, Vintage 2018 will also be underway by months’ end. There is always an air of excitement and anticipation at this time of year as the chance presents itself for lovers of wine to see grapes on the vine, bathe in the heady aromas of fermenting fruit and generally immerse themselves in the romance of the valley. A great time to visit if you can get here and I’d be more than happy to take you on a tour of the winery if you can arrange a time in advance.
Of course, if unable to visit you can always procure your favourite Langmeil tipple online and don’t forget to peruse the ‘End of Runs’ listed hereabouts.
